Also consider this scenario: What if the Singhalese army deliberately kills Eelam Tamil civilian in their fight against the LTTE as a form of collective punishment? And what if the response of the LTTE is also using the deliberate tactic of killing Singhalese civilian as a form of collective punishment.
So who wrong here?
Both are knowingly doing the wrong thing, one act goes unreported, and another act is reported.
So, can any group (Singhalese or Eelam Tamils)be go against Newton third law - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
The pretence of fighting terrorist (EelamTamils) gives the Singhalese legitimate right to go on killing Eelam civilians- and the excuse of fighting an occupation army, gives the Eelam Tamils the right to go on killing Singhalese civilians.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Soon it will be the Singhalese turn to commit these crimes, who will be unreported here, but reported in the western world.
And Talk is so effective to solve this issue- amazing what hate among two ethnic group can create.

Mr Tamil boy,
These 2 fellows [ltte and SLA] were honeymooning [- just like newly weds] when IPKF was in the island. Before that they had fierce enemity. When asked - Then president the great premadaasa said "we are brothers - so we will fight at the same time we love each other". After some 3 years, Premadasa was sent to hell by LTTE throgh a cold-blooded bomb blast. Wow! What a brotherhood! I conclude that both waring parties are criminals.
