1)Imposing windfall profit tax on oil companies. Accusing the Petroleum Minister of favouring “only one well-known private operator” (read Mukesh Ambani-promoted Reliance Industries Ltd)
2)In a letter of July 2, Amar Singh alleged, echoing the views of Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications, that the Department of Telecom was taking a lenient view on spectrum charges at the behest of GSM operators such as Bharti Airtel and Vodafone.
3) Locking horn with RBI governer asking for utilization of foreign reserve to curb inflation. One doesn’t know whether Amar Singh is driven purely by economic logic or the recent episode of RBI taking on his close ally Subroto Roy.

Dear citizen is it a national interest or personal interest.
