As expected the SAD(akali dal) has not given any positive committment to the NDA on whether they will vote with the NDA or with UPA.The sardars have showed their true colours they have indicated their preference for their jaatbhai MMS than for their group NDA.Politics in India is divided on religous,language and caste lines not on national feelings. This same akali dal after shamelessly voting with the govt on nuclear deal will link up with NDA in the general elections 2008/2009.

If SAD votes for Congress, then BJP should kick SAD out of NDA. Without the alliance with BJP, SAD can't win more than 3 seats (out of 13) in next parliament elections in Punjab. When the NDA goverment comes to power in 2009, let SAD sit in opposition with Congress. Then BJP should speed up the cases (which Congress had initiated) against SAD leaders. That will teach them a lesson.

BJP can kick today and lick tomorrow.... BJP is nowhere in punjab without akalis .. NDA will loose one more state.... SAD can join UNPA...
