Amar Singh says he supported the deal becoz he did not want the BJP ("communal forces") to come to power. Now that means, he is convinced that if elections are to be held today, the BJP is going to come to power!
Anyway, he can prevent this from happening only for the next 9 months. After that the General Elections have to be held, then he cannot prevent the people's verdict

My question is in case if the Congress fails to win the majority will they approach the Leftists for support? Will they reciprocate in good faith? Only time will tell the future alignments.

If you could provide the correct tally instead of Pravin's 'mistakes', we could probably avoid election costs...

That is not required innit?... despite all assurances to the contrary given by Pranab, Congress HAS gone to IAEA ahead of the trust vote..
In any case elections are around the corner anyway... just wait a few more months.. :-)
