Smart learn by someone else's experience.You can see RedCon followers being kicked by their leaders all the time.
In BJP donkeys follow the people, in RedCon leaders kick their followers(I hope its not too hard to go thru head)

Not sure about your comment about BJP though... they started getting elected (rising from a strength of 2 in the parliament to 130) only after public started becoming educated...
