Why we need nucler energy ... we have to depend upon other country for uranium..
Y V can't go for hyro power plant and wind and Solar enery .. all this need one time investment and just to maintenance latter on. All the resources are available to us in plenty.. Water in the NORTh (Himalayas and we have lot of big rivers ). SUN in the west Rajasthan all desert and wind is there all over the county just have to find any little bit higher point like local hill and setup wind mills. SUZLON one of the world largest wind power generator is in INDIA.

The advantages of the nuclear deal is more broad based than just obtaining technology for nuclear energy...it also open up the avenue for several dual technology research from computers, energy (solar, hydro, etc.), manufacturing machinery, health care, nano technology, etc. India will have a chance to access these technologies that are already developed & in use by western countries.

We have sufficient inhouse production for out current need, we just need to use properly.
U don't neet uranium for all this purpose neno tech or computer tech need silicon and brain and commitment that we have lot, If you want to go for nuclear think about plutonium which is also available in this nation. we need good policy and implementaion not energy from nuclear paricle whic are only available in 2 - 3 contry and Australia already refused to give even after signing this agrement left with USA

Ha Ha! Run a 48-wagon heavy goods train using wind energy! Electricity is not just for lighting a small lamp in a house... it has plenty of industrial requirements.... Environmentalists cry when we make dams even for meeting power requirements for kitchen use... source of diesal and coal products will be finished in next 30 to 40 years... you will see light... but your children will be in darkness... but remember... we have responsibility to our future generations too... :)

How much enery we required for our industrail use... Just leave in UP Bihar .. where 8hrs daily cut is official and rest unofficial.. There is no electricity in City like MUMBAI there also people are facing power cut. u can generate enouch poer with sun and wind to run 100 wagon trainnot 48 U stupid I am not talking about small solar plant at your malabar Hill flat I am taking about in large scal. even every house made compulsary to install solar pannel in their roof top that will generate enouch energy for your local requirement.
Solar water heater safe 50 % of your electricity bill. I have this experience.
The energy u save from your house hold can be diverted to run your 48 wagon train and big industires.
Industries roof may also become good powe generator units for their office lighting.
Kuch dimag ka istemal karo bakwas kerne ke liye ye neeta log bahut hai. my dear

Nr. John wake up & open your eyes forget the 48 wagon railyou have ships of 50,000 tonnes cargo carrying capacity running on wind. Don't go very far & see the dhows moving from Mumbai to Dubai carrying 1000 tonnes of cargo on wind power. Please understand like fossil fuel nuclear power substances ar also minerals & will finish. Why not brace up for the future today & GO GREEN
