First is the deal and its terms. From what is visible, there seems to be little to find fault. The problems will arise only on the issue of perpetuity. Besides, a lot of interpretations need to be done as every thing seems to be too simple for an international agreement of such importance. One could even doubt if this is the full Text in the first place.
The second issue of importance is the way the Congress has treated its important ally on whose support they have survived for over 5 years now. If the Agreement Text was so simple, there was no reason for not showing this to the Left and the Opposition. Congress cannot say that they were barred from this by the IAEA as the Spokesperson of the IAEA has on TV indicated to the contrary yesterday.

On reading the draft as a common man I found this is the best of its kind in the form of a deal for the betterment of the Nation. It is not correct to say that Left has been treated badly. In fact the left and in particular Mr Karat has treated the respected Prime Minister of India in an insulting way that too when he was outside the country before the world leaders . Mr Manmohanjee was responsible for todays stature of India before the world to keep its head held high,by introducing reforms. The Nuclear Deal is historic to keep India by the side of China and other big countries in future. Every Indian should appreciate goo dthings done for the country.

UPA has treated the Left and BJP very badly. Only the other day they said that the agreement is very secret and cannot b shown to anyone outside the govt. They also said that if it is made public, it may cause security problem for some nuclear reactors. How suddenly it is no longer a secret document?
