Obviously the Akalidal's support goes to UPA and thereby indirectly to the P.M.who hails fron their community.After all blood is always thicker than water.

Not sure whether blood is thicker. The prospect of the first Sikh PM voted out of office surely will fire up the emotion of Sikhs that could be detrimental to the Akalis. The best NDA can expect is the Akalis abstain. This is also the only option for the Akalis unless until it becomes apparent that their 8 votes make the critical difference for Manmohan Singh to win the vote.
