Harsh calling of BJP to UPA to prove majority seems too risky. They should exercise some restraint. What if cong wins trust vote, u'll surely lose face.
Are u so confident Mr. Advani that there is no way for the cong at this juncture??
Or BJP may already have smelled some hidden developments against cong on the floor, and they are sure of cong loosing..

I dont think congress will go. they are oldest player in politics and they were roaring like a lion and downplaying commies, some calculation must have made them confident. i hope bjp has to work hard in UP to get enough seats to win an election. bjp with bsp is actually bad in long run for bjp. without UP bjp cant cross 200 mark alone.

peter , this is part of democracy, when a major ally of the ruling govt withdraws support, the govt has to prove its majority and any opposition party will call for it.

There is nothing 'Historical' about this deal. It is as simple as any other 'trade treaty'. The hype is created by Cons and REDs to amuse muslim voters. After general elections, the whole hype about the deal will be over, and it will be renegotiated by bureaucrats in routine manner.
