Why Parties Oppose and Support the n-Deal?
by Bharat Kr on Jul 09, 2008 08:26 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Forget all the brouhaha over the electricity generation, nuclear trade, etc.

Why parties support and oppose the deal?
1. Communists opposing reason- is their ideology of anti-Americanism (not China).
2. BJP opposing reason-Nationalism and national sovereignty.
3. US proposing reason- to cap our nuclear capability.
4. Congress agreeing reason - big money in Swiss banks (don't forget Swiss Frank 2.5 billion in Rajiv's account in Swiss banks from Bofors, now controlled by Sonia and her childrens) and more once trade starts.

The deal is a Trojan Horse designed to destroy our strategic capabilities. We must disapprove Indo-US nuclear pact in its present form, since it is detrimental to national interest.

What more you can expect from Knickerwalas' apologists? BJP opposing for reasons of nationalism- and promising to renegotiate after coming to power (in 2100?). Mungerilal's dreams likely to turn into nightmares soon. 82 year old budhavoo trying to act smart. No wonder his mission to beg for PM' chair through Jaswant Singh prostrating at the feet of Mulayam Singh
failed twice. No shame for this indecent hurry for a chair? Kissa Kursi Ka?
