These days even bulls deliver. Didn't you read about a man in the US is pregnant?
More seriously, it is just a mindset. If your basically against the agreement than the old adage becomes operative - you take the bull to the trough but not make it drink. So no amount of convincing will work as your mind is not conditioned to accept reality
