MPs MUST SUPPORT ISSUES OF NATIONAL INTEREST
by Peter Colaco on Jul 09, 2008 11:17 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

All MPs should support those issues which are of national interest no matter what party they belong to. They should not forget that nation comes first rather than their party. MPs are elected to run the Nation wisely and not only their party. If they oppose just for the sake of opposing like BJP, then they are doing great injustice for the nation.

Peter, I agree with you that all the MPs, irrespective of the party they belong to, join hands for the sake of betterment of the country. But the ruling party, atleast should show some inclination to join the hands. Yesterday, in NDTV Kapil Sibal was arguing against Brinda karat, indirectly agreed that they have not properly approached other parties
