My dear friend, we are not talking about energy for only your home but for the full country. If you kind sir, have the expertise to generate the same from wind and sun please step forward and be counted or forever shut your mouth.

Forgot Dabhol Project so soon? Who knows what terms are laid in it? May be US wants India to be its slave for forty years or in case of termination of agreement interim, All Indians should serve US for free or hand over all our nuclear capabilities to the US! It is highly dangerous to enter into any agreement without understanding the longterm consequences. Not that I am a commie or commie-sympathiser (that would not be even the last thing I would do). But I am not inclined to blindly trust the US either!

its a 30 Billion USD deal...and the GDP of US is 7.3 trillion USD...u must be out of ur basic wits to think that US needs 30 Billion US to boost their economy.
It is more of a strategic alliance which is needed.they want Polar formation of countries with whom they can be friends...and with whom they cannot be.
Thru N-Deal there will be US$ 260Bn worth Contracts as per present estimates.
And GDP of USA, AND FOREX are different Things.
When in 1991, India exhausted its Forex, Indians had not stopped buying everything. Life was Normal. Only the RBI and others concerned knew that they cannot do biz with the Rest of the World.
USD 30Bn of Forex is a Huge Amount. And The Resultant Jobs Created make a Lot of Difference.
