Selling India in the name of Energy
by RAJ on Jul 08, 2008 03:42 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The American Educated ( i am nothing against American education) Man Mohan-Chidambram-Kamalnath-Montek team is all bent to do all they can to please US. They are selling India piece by piece in the name of Nuclear energy and they are well aware that, as long as the corrupt English media support them, the middle class also salute them.

1. We need to increase our R&D spending as developed nations are doing for innovative systems in Energy proiduction.
2. The investment in R&D from US companies for greene enrgy will be in the tune of 3.4 trillion $ in the comning 5 years as per IES

Obama is all for support of such initiatives and he has been backed by companies like Google in this regard.

Nuclear power generation is a non-polluting form and if u want to put money on R&D now on solar and wind and expect power from that.. may be our great grandsons will be enjoying the power so generated if the earth exists till then coz of green house gases generated from fossil fuels.

Exactly, we have alwways been short sighted creatures, we dont wanna look forward and work hard on new scientific developments and because of this we will always be beggers like this.

Who stopped us from investing in Wind power, Hydropwer with so much of natural resources we have?

And all this Drama what we will be achiveing maximun 8% of our energy needs in another 10 years? How will we get the rest 92% unless we look beyond this nuclear energy.

Think of 1% of current needs coming from hydel energy of Narmada dam..
Think if we build such 8 dams to substitute N-Deal, how many generation it will take to realize. The N-Deal is 30 years only.
