Opposing Nuclear Deal.
by Prabhakar kommaravolu on Jul 08, 2008 03:11 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

All those opposing nuclear deal should answer these questions?

a. Is there any other known cleaner source of power available in India? Sun energy is still far off to provide economically viable source.
b. Do you want your children to get back to studying under Kerosene Lamps, Wood fire etc?
c. Do you wish your spouse to work in darkness to make good food for you?
d. Do'nt you wish to a life without power cuts?
e. Do'nt you want to have a better life?
f. Do'nt you want the Monsoons to arrive on time and not with fury as it is now?
g. Do'nt you want better climate?

Those who say no to above can oppose the deal. Lastly remember, Income levels in India have gone up substantially owing to IT revolution driven by US markets for which all should be obliged.

What is wrong in taking from US what you do not have? THEY ARE TAKING WHAT THEY DO NOT HAVE FROM US ANYWAY.

Prabhakar is under the influemce of bhang.

Will signing nuclear deal solve any of the problems he mentions..none what so ever.

Where is the money for nuclear plants. It costs staggering 42,000 crore rupees to build one nuclear plant now a days. Go and do google search..dont beleive me--do it yourself.

Prabhakaran is ignorant or paid poster.

Do you know work on 3 nuclear power plants is not going forward because of fuel shortage, and in other 2 , which are working under testing phase are also on verge of closure because of Nuclear fuel shortage and other countries have declined to provide Uranium to India until we sign the agreement...but anyway, you like to be in your fool's paradise then who are we to stop you from doing so

can you support your baseless assertion? How come India had all the fule when NDA was in power, now we have 'shortages'.

Moreover russia offered 4 nuclear plants- no 123, no strings, life time guarantee of uranium supply, ..why did MMS refuse?

For your info- USA gets its uranium from Russia. Don't believe me...do you own google search.

Dude, again, how illiterate of you.. Russia has already declined to provide the fuel to India until we sign the safeguard agreement. Then India tried Australia, which is the biggest exporter of Uranium with no luck. I guess you dont know , but the fuel gets depleted, and thats what happened with the plants running. the plant in Karnataka is being closed cause of the shortage.... NDA cant magically produce fuel, they used what we had, now the amount of fuel we have isnt sufficient...
