What the left has done was really apt at this point.There is no use supporting them after the PM decided to go forth with IAEA.He is childish in being making such a decision.Or it is a political trick for facing the coming election.Evenif the congress party did not succeed in going ahead with IAEA, this issue could be used as a political weapon.Anyhow it will be an irrepairable loss if the deal is signed.One should not sacrifice his country's sovereignity just because of the lack of serious thought.

There are dozens of countries: France, China, Russia, South Africa, Brazil. All have nuclear power plants. Many of them (except Russia) have plants built by the US. Are they forced t always follow the US?

I don't know why so many people belive this. It is completely irrational. There is no evidence to support your point.
I understand the left parties are against the deal because they don't want India to threaten China at any cost.
Either that is your real motive, or else your argument is just nonsense. There is NO question of sacrificing our sovereignity here.
