This whole thing is a SHAM ... here is my prediction:
1. The Communists will withdraw but "support from outside" to "prevent communal parties" from assuming power.
2. The Center will make the right noises and take the process forward.
3. With elections coming up in the US and the pace of securing agreements in the world stage this agreement WILL STALL.
4. The new US Govt and India will discuss "renewing and strengthening" relationships and conveniently take this back many steps.
5. Communists will hail this "achievment" and come back on board
WHO WINS? 1. Congress - for appearing like they wanted the deal. 2. Communists - for being "bold" (read the sarcasm!) 3. US - gives time for a new administration to assess the deal with fresh eyes
Net effect - this move by Communists is nothing but bluster and a sham. Time we VOTED out the communists. there is nothing positive about them - nada.

Get the facts right.. commies are supporting the govt from outside from the day one n if they withdraw support there's no outside the outside support. But the commies should be voted out tht's a good call.
