The NYT full page full page advertisements against Sonia Gandhi when she came to New York to addresx the UN General Assembly. So they cannot be accused of being soft on the Congress.
This is a setback for the Commies and knickerwallahs who were saying that the deal was anti-national.

India's signing a deal which is far better than any other nuclear deal ever signed till now. No non-NPT signatory has signed a nuclear deal till now. Only countries who'll have a chance to hold our neck are pak n china coz they don't need a deal to transfer sinister technologies.

Yes that was the same criticism made against Manmohan Singh in the nineties when was liberalizing the economy.
He laid the foundation for India to jump to a higher economic orbit. It this track record that makes majority of at least urban middle class to trust him

He is the great economist ......heard he is Harvard scholar ...........he studied over there ..... he must have educatd about the benefits of liberalsed economy ............But if you see what happened to Ukraine after similar deal with US ........Nothing Bad but nuclear trade between Iran and Ukraine pull down by US ................ If they similarly do smething ............. that will definitely hurt us .............well regardinng Fuel folw my doubt is cleared that other NSG will supply us ................... Nuclear test wont be possible but for something we need we have to compromise .............. 1 q arise that why similar deal is not done with russia as thay are always a support for US ....they supported India in 1998 in trade sanction due to test

spiderman, Have some guts and courage. India is not some bannana republic . And the US knows that very well. And they are not there to spoil the relation. India and the US need each other. There is no premenent enemies or friends in diplomatic relations. All based on interest. Get that thru your Commie head. US is a democracy like India unlike your mother land CHINA.
