indo-u.s.nuclear deal

Depending on u.s. for nuclesr technology, on Australia for uranium and subject to inspectors from IAEA ,are we independent or not ?The way these yankee lovers are running the country , only GOD cn save us. Do any of you remember what happened to the Shah of Iran and South Vietnamese generals and people who depended on Uncle Sam ? If we depend on the whims and fancies of other countries for our energy needs, good luck . In the field of energy, We should not be accountable to anybody anytime .The present government does NOT have the right to give away our indenpendence , even partly . WHY ,WHY,WHY u.s.govt. is so anxious and eager to sign the agreement ? Do not expect the u.s.govt. to give something for nothing. I am sorry I do not agree with the opinion of our Ex-president Mr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. I am totally againest this deal .Too bad I do not have the power to scuttle this deal. More than 50 years of Congress rule, where are we as for as the energy needs are concerned?

US is vital to the development of any free country. The Shah of Iran was a Shah, and other Islamic dictators who depended on US were past their dates of expiry. India is too divided to deal with Islamic terror and hence needs US on its good books. India cannot overlook the US, a $14 trillion economy. Its like being friends with 30% of the worlds who is who.
