What is the future of our country?
by pradeep ray on Jul 07, 2008 05:12 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Our country is passing through rough weather.
Bomb blasts, floods, naxal strikes, reservation, curfew due to communal clash, non-patriotic ideology of political parties have made things worse.

Repeated failure of finals in cricket even rubs salt on the wound by way of cheaply surrendering before the opponents.

How can we overcome these obstacles?

Change our Constitution.
Implement Two party system.
Let voters decide by vote who will be the PM and president and not by only a party supremo like Sonia Gandhi.

Once a person is defeated in Lok Sabha MP election, let he not be qualified as Rajya Sabha MP for next five years.

A person having declared criminal by a court must be disqualified for ever to be elected as MLA/MP/MLC,etc.

Reasonably good suggestions at basic reforms.Particularly the one about having just a
two, well, may be three, party system in our all adults please vote election, is a must for this democracy to come out of such confused mess! Also needs seconding the thought - that criminals must be in jails, only jails!
