Your Prkash Karat, sitharam yechuri and Har Kishan Surjit never contested a Panchayat/Parliament elections.

Right you are: Karat,Yechuri,Manmohan are all in the same boat.Never they contest election where people vote directly.Then there is another group like Shivraj Patil.They contest,get defeated but immediately become cabinet minister.People have no power to reject them.What a democracy?
