I am a hindu and I have respect for all relegions even though I do not personally endorse of all the practices followed by other relegion but niether do I want others to agree with my relegios thoughts and nor do I want them to convert to Hinduism and I am happy with what they believe and do as long as it does not hurt anyone and I felt the same for my INDIAN MUSLIM BROTHERS....but when I see people defending terrorsists be it kashmir or Afganistan (where 4 Indians have died today) I feel sorry and start having second thoughts about them ....we are from the age when we had Khan chacha in every locality who was all wise and saintly....but now I think if he is chacha he cannot be KHAN if he is KHAN he cannot CHACHA....As Indians we have the same blood we have nothing in common with the AFGAN terrorists....they were just terrorists and how can an INDIAN of any relegious affiliation support such an act in the name of PROPHET etc.....can any one mulsim brother with his hand on the heart plainly condemn the act and say that who ever has attacked INDIAN embassy is a terrorist and my enemy and enmy of INDIA and Its people, and given a CHANCE I WILL FINISH HIM....where are ABDUL HAMEEDS and ASHFAQULLAHS....where are they.. who will be ready to cut that finger which points towards INDIA with equal fury be it PAKISTANI, TALIBANI OR CHINESE so on and so forth....

Organized religion is organized madness. Things will go on as usual. All these talk is time waste. The basic difference between Islam and other religions is that the 'State' does not legalize fundamentalism. For all other religions the State mandates, One-Law, Uniform Civil Code & Gender Equality. Christians, Jews, Parsis, Sikhs, Buddhists and Hindus have the same value system in the 21st century; All of them have modernized. They all believe in One-Law, Gender Equality, Uniform Civil Code, Freedom, Democracy and "True" secularism. What matters in life is the intensity of our work and inner fulfillment. Neither archaic religion, nor pseudo modernity can save humanity. People who will continue to succeed, are one's who will cultivate talent, knowledge, action in themselves and in others and seek equality in laws, principles and values. Rest is all waste of time and energy. Every developed country in the world is secular and excel in life, work, sports, performance and productivity. Islam is stuck in its own rut living and spreading misery. Those who have free oil and US support survive, rest are all into terrorism and blackmail for survival. There are two failed systems - Islam & Communism and are not compatible with Peace & Democracy, till now no Islamic nation can sustain a democracy. Islam is stuck in its own rut, not even knowing what life is about with hallucinatory notions of perfection & spirituality.

desh joshi, appreciate your open mindedness.
There are million's of abdul hameeds alive and kicking, if need comes they will rise and many have risen.
My q to you is how could you assume indians are not hurt by this bombing irrespective of faith? why do i have to justify myself to be more indian than others? are we not playing into hands of enemies by abusing, where has the sanity gone. why do we have jump at each others throat.
why do we end up abusing religions, religous books, religious figures. Why?
You do not have to justify about being Indian to anyone.
Most people vent their anger and frustration by cursing Muslims and accusing them of being unpatriotic etc. This is very wrong.
Muslims are just as good or bad as the rest of us.
But what can explain the relentless spate of terrorist violence? It is important to understand that. And I believe one can understand if one reads the source material of Islam.
Blaming Muslims is wrong and futile. Understanding and examining Islam is the key. Hope you understand.

Understanding islam is the key, very true, with right benchmarks, not with blinkered twisted history and biased current situation. The current situation is more of a fight against the western hegemony and imperialism against robbing of resources. West has already subjugated rest of the world, only muslims are standing against. India is caught in crossfire.
