He is not being sarcastic. he is being honest here. The left are the most principled among the current lot. Don't mean to say they are perfect, but better than all the others. You may not agree to their ideology, but the fact that they are least corrupt among the politicians cannot be denied.

Their only principle is oppose anything that benefits India and they are always loyal to that principle
