Double Standards of Knickerwallahs
by All Right on Jul 07, 2008 08:17 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

What's wrong in trying to bring down the government in a democratic way? Mahesh asks.

Nothing at all except when the Congress does the same you cry foul.

It is the double standards. Mulayam becomes a saint, a hero if had aligned with BJP to bring down the Congress and a devil when he instead aligned with the Congress

Even in Karnataka, the BJP by inducing defections is only committing suicide - bringing closer the JDS and Congress who together has 55% of the vote. What this traslates at the Lok Sabha is that the BJP will lose theot 18 seats which they currently hold.

In UP, the Mulayam, Ajit Singh & Congress alliance will mean that the battle will be between this combine and the BSP. The BJP will not open its account in the state.

In West Bengal, a Trinamool Congress-Congress alliance will not see the Left given a dubbing, but BJP reduced to a non-player in the state

In Orissa, MP, Rajasthan & Chattisgarh, the BJP/NDA governments are facing massive anti-incumbency

And this is a short list

Haylo My Clone:

Your list is fantastic.... :-)

People of India really sound like fools innit?... BTW if they have repeatedly brought back different versions of Gandhis, they ought to have been that anyway.... :-)

So what's new that you are telling us?
