Communists do not understand the psyche of Indian people. As long as India is there, China wll only be treated as Invador, even we assume that there were some wrong doings on our part. People of India are not ready for an open friendship with China and this is a psycholgical problem even though it is better to have genuine friendship with China.
Same is the case with Pakistan. They are advocating Gas Pipe Line through Pakistan. India's relations with Pakistan has not matured to that level of trust and not only that Pakistan as a state is in a vulnerable condition. The terrorists can at any time gain upper hand.
The third country is Iran. Western world is bent upon isolating Iran and they are sure to succeed also because of the present political climate in the world. Iran itself is not governed by a progressive government
Our communist friends are advocating better relations with these countries which we can not do in the present political context.
Communists should try to understand the common people more instead concentrating only on salaried Government Employees. Their track record in Kerala is dismal. They have virtually made Kerala's economy into a post office economy. No activity inside the state but consumerism based on remittance from outside.
