Actually, the left stymied the Congress in all its policies. Now that the elections are six months away, the Congress has taken the support of the SP to avoid the present bad price situation.

It seems Mr.Prem Mohan you are living on another planet. SP is supporting thru Cong-I horse trading - UPA government on N deal not on price rise / inflation issue!! This price rise will swallow SP also along with UPA and its allies. How can you expect rural voters to understand Nuclear deal ?

I wonder if personal abuse is an argument? All I said was that the Congress does not want to face elections now (because of inflation) but, at the same time, the PM really believes in the nuclear deal.
Finally, I don't think rural people are as badly affected by inflation as urban people. Rural people can grow a large part of the food they need and survive on local produce.

There is another side to this. Why did the Congress use the communists to come to power? Was the Congress unaware of the real nature of the Communists?

whether it's congress,CPI,CPM, SP,BJP or for that matter all are power mongers. They want to stick to their seats at any cost and fill their pockets. Do you think they are really interested in the welfare of the people? All are opportunists.
