Middle class which was so far somewhat in favor of the the deal would start questioning motives behind this deal. Not good for the deal.



I am afraid lefties are right on this issue. Nulcear deal is a sell out of Inida's interests.

It is not..were being treated on par with first world...our millitary reactors not under scrutiny..we'll finally get fuel for our nacent nuclear power stations and programmes...

so where is exactly the sellout?

Treated on par? where did you get that from?

China has only a couple of nuclear plants under inspection under 123 agreement where as India is forced to bring 14 of her plants under inspections.

Hyde act prevents sell of dual use technology items to India.

US president would have to certify every year ( like for Pakistan ) that India is not making nuclear weapons. India would have to show how much weapon grade nuclear material it has.
