that is as big as nuclear plant. Sun energy is free.

Surya and vayu devatas are the only solution for energy problems of India.

Free, green, everlasting, low maintenance, no political baggage, individualized, can work in rural setting, technology improving every day..

Why are kangressi running after nuclear? lots of bribe from US

We dont need to scrap N-deal to build solar energy plants. Suzlon is already doing it in India and reliance is building the largest factory for solar cell manufacturing. It takes time and whats the problem in using the wasted capacity of our power plants with the uranium from N-deal.

If you dont know anything about energy or physics, keep quite. The biggest solar power plant till 2007 has a capacity of 12 MW!

Solar and win power in no way can contribute more than 2%-3% of total needs. They ar ethe best source, but not practical for large scale production. Dont assume yourself a scientist, and keep your d1rty political views from serious topics.

Yes, the wind flow in is not sufficient to produce viable energy out of it. Solar is pretty expensive to build. UK recently announced to meet their energy needs and as alternative to fossil fuels they are planning to build 40 Nuclear Power Reactors. USA also passed bill to start building new reactors.

may be yesterday the Surya and Vayu Devta's would have given darshan so he is all excited.

India at present produces 10000 MW from wind eenrgy and only 3500 MW from nuclear.

I dont need to say whether it works or not. Action speaks for itself.

India has installed wind capacity of 8000 MW ... that's installed capacity not actual production. actual production due to low wind or no wind on certain days or parts of days can reduce the actual production to 25% of installed capacity.

wind power is not reliable.
