Nothing to show!
by Mahesh on Jul 06, 2008 01:37 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

This government has completed more than four years and has nothing to show as its achievement except inflation, minority appeasement, allowing Chinese to intrude into India, inaction in combating terrorist violence and giving a free ride to missionaries and mullahs. Just this one good act (after sleeping on this deal for about a year) will not wash away their sins.

Nothing to show as achievement? This is just one of the Goebbelian lies which knickerwallahs are spreading, elections being near. Provided is an extract from Business Standard:

"Start with the performance of the economy. Its growth rate last year has been upped from 8.7 per cent to 9 per cent, taking the average rate of growth in the four years of the Manmohan Singh government to 8.9 per cent. I cannot think of any other government that would not make a bit of a noise about such stellar success, and draw comparisons with the record of its predecessor (5.9 per cent over six years) — showing a jump of 50 per cent. Or take agriculture, whose annual growth during the UPA term has been 3.6 per cent — again a jump of nearly 50 per cent, and the best record since the 1980s."

Remember knickerwallah. Inflation has a second side. Rural farmers are getting a respite after several decades. More money in their hand.

You are an idiotic moron. Rural farmers are getting respite? You must be living in another planet. Only suicides by farmers have gone up not their income.
