advani's words of wisdom
by krishna prasad on Jul 06, 2008 08:57 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu hit out at the ruling combine, saying "one unholy alliance has come to an end and preparations are afoot for another one". what a ridiculous statement it is? he has no shame in sharing platform with deve gowda in karnataka, no shame in sharing with karunadhi and now same karunanidhi with congress and who knows tomorrow the same one may be with venkaiah naidu again. and the same bjp & advani now talk about unholy alliances? it was vajpayee who is famous for forging unholy alliances anyway and advani is going to repeat the same thing if bjp wins 180 seats in forth coming elections. the bjp lost all its credibility when it stopped support the US nuclear deal for petty party interests. this example shows that bjp is not a nationalistic party at all, for it is simply a small regionally, electoral interested party which is concerned only about its electoral survival rather than the broader national interest. venkaiah naidu and advani now targetting congress and sp over the nuclear deal do not carry any conviction or credibility. better they shut their mouths shut as they always looked to embarass the federal govt. when it was trying to do a thing which is in the very national interest.
