Cong and left created smoke screen
by j j on Jul 05, 2008 06:05 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The present scenario is a smoke screen created willfully by the cangress and Chinese spies to cheat the aam admi.

What BJP asking is a legitimate demand and cangress arrogant reply is undemocratic and they questioning the trust of the people.

All Right: Is Opposition has any right in a democracy. Other wise you saw only Pakistani democracy !

Nuclear deal: Some people including you say BJP has no opinion on the nuke deal.
Is BJP, the number 1 political party ever consulted in this deal ?
Is this a deal drafted in secret by Man Mohan and US team ?
So on what terms BJP has to support such a deal ?
If BJP put India as a nuclear nation they have their own plans and path for a better deal to any world nation.
Remember this cangress and communist wept on public for putting India on nuke club.
Telling a lie million time don't make it a truth .
What you saying about UN and Vajpayee is irrelevant. UN is not world court or US is not world police.
I am telling again this nuke deal and other political mess is a creation of UPA to get away from their responsibility. If the opposition feels that Govt is a minority they have to right to ask for confidence motion.

pls do not forget that it was the BJP and especially jaswant singh as foreign minister in nda , who initiated the nuclear deal with the US govt.

the deal is worth 10's of thousands of crores and bjp leaders would have got a slice of this
as commissions and kickbacks.

they are now opposing this deal because they do not get this slush now.

thats why they are opposing the deal on flimsy ground.

advani can never hope to gain the stature of vajpayee who was a great nationalist and statesman.

on the other hand every word advani utters reduces his stature.

Hey Ravi:

BJP initiated a nuclear deal with the US govt..

Congress is currently in talks...

Deal is worth 10's of thousands of crores - BJP leaders would have got a slice..

Congress leaders ARE getting the slice already..

That's why Congress leaders are ADAMANT to go ahead even at the risk of a fallen govt.. :-)

That's why they are taking even Mulayam's support (I'm sure Sonia will remember Mulayam.. :-) to see the deal through - when their pet friends Commies saw through this 10's of thousands of crores scam... :-)

Sonia can perhaps hope to gain the stature of Advani... she occasionally comes close to competing.. :-)

What is the source for this kind of allegation. Other than third rate street talk what is the validity of these claims.

NDA or BJP never convinced of the present form of Nuke deal. There is non transparency in the present form of the deal. Opposition has the right to object the deal if they are not convinced on there own. Many people in these board speaking like BJP or NDA did a crime by not accepting the deal in the present form. What a pity.

What is legitimacy of BJP's demand?

Vajpayee in Gen Assembly of the UN declared that India no longer needed to test our nuclear weapons. Through 5 tests conducted by the Vajpayee we created a data base so that we need physically test but test through computer simulation which all nuclear powers are doing. The fact is in the last decade no country exploded a nuclear device.

Now the BJP objects to the deal since it says that we cannot explode a nuclear device

What so legitimate about BJP's demand. They object to the deal on the specious argument that it does not permit us to test our nuclear weapons.

The operating word is in the event of nuclear testing. Even here the agreement provides an exception - the right to test if China or Pakistan tests.

No one in the nuclear community believes any more for the need to physically test. They now test through computer simulation using past test data.

This is the reason why Vajpayee government shrewdly went for a series of explosions (5 to be precise) - to generate such a data base.

Having done that Vajpayee gave an assurance to the world through his address to the General Assembly of the UN that India no longer needs to explode any nuclear devise.

So if we are take BJP's present position seriousily, is Vajpayee and BJP at in 2000 lying to the world?

Any reason why we are so opposed to NPT and CTBT? Bcoz we do not want anyone to impose a ban on testing on us. We have a self imposed moratorium. And we know what it means. We and only we will decide if we need to conduct a nuke test or not. And what database are you talking about? The US has conducted hundreds of nuclear tests over 40-50 years. Can we even remotely compare our database to theirs? Or would they part with that data if we dont conduct any test ourselves? We wouldnt know if our computer simulations are actual , ideal probable, possible or unreal. Whom do we consult then? The US? They havent been even remotely fothcoming over the last six decades. Its not Cong or BJP, UPA or NDA. There shall be a Nuke deal and in the near future. But why the hurry and the secrecy? Isnt it something of national importance that everyone be taken into confidence? Can any compromise on any issue be struck with the US without the approval of the Parliament or the people?
