BJP Stunned
by Bhaskar Ghosh on Jul 05, 2008 02:32 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The BJP is more stunned than anything else. It thought it would be able to capatalise on the situation and would gain if elections were to be held today. Sadly, it has put its own interests before nation's interest.

But why can't BJP move a motion of no confidence against the govt. Are they afraid of facing the polls?

What is the foundation of your comment?
When your neighbor fights with his wife and asks for a divorce would you be stunned?
Every one who knows politics in India knows that the Congress cannot win elections of the N-deal and the BJP cannot lose elections based on the N-deal.
At the rate at which inflation is going up the BJP stands a better chance of winning elections on time.
Like every person who talks on this matter and doesn’t have a clue on what would be the benefit that the N-deal will give India ,you are parroting what MMS claims > Or did you also like Amar Singh meet APJ Abdul Kaalam .
Ask yourself one thing:
If the deal is so good why doesn’t MMS explain it to the nation? Why is he wasting time threatening the resign rather than go to the people.

As far as putting personal interest before nations interest is concerned every politician from Nehru to Maywati from Indira Gandhi to Mulayum Singh both Vajpayee and Advani included have done it.
The only one that did not do so we still fortunately call the father of our nation.

atleast they regained the lost land in Kargil war ........like we lost land to Pak and china due to complacency of Nehru and congress.......... do you know what the fact .......... Loan waiver is not the solution for what was claimed you also know this benefit is for farmer who taken loan from bank ..... do you think majority of poor farmers take loan from bank .........infact they wont know about about such loan waiver also ......... what about those farmer who repayed the loan by hardwork and consistency .... it will lead to injustice as this scheme make Lazy and Hardworking farmers on same level ......... well I never support advani or BJP post ABV ....... but they are better than congress
