Mulayam favors nuclear deal.
by kamal baluja on Jul 04, 2008 02:29 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

By stating that now they have all the details they believe the n.deal is in the interest nation politician like Mulayam Singh DO ADMIT that their earlier held opinin was uninformed and their objection (to the deal) baseless. In this they display their own immaturity and intellectual illiteracy. Why couldn't they get opinion before from learned sources like Prof Kalam as they have done now rather than just relying on what the Left has to tell them. We get the politicians we deserve. 10 months wasted and this would be critical in getting the deal through.
And what is wrong in 'trucking' with the USA? They are the strongest nation in the world and can help in offsetting the growing threat of China whose menace is increasing by the day.

mulayam is wise politician in wrong compulsions.it is heartening also that wise cousel prevailed. j p and communists also want to support but certain political calculations prevent them.after all plitics is all about aquisition of power.dont blame them. present pm also opposed when others tried to do it.both of them are not illiterate.

as if kalam wud explain and mulayam wud undestand...Nuclear deal is not about milking buffaloes, one can hardly expect yadav and gang to understand a single word of it.

The only thing which might have changed their opinion is that now since mayawati has walked out of UPA bcoz of rahul baba gandhi attacking her dalit votebase in UP, Mulayam is cozying up with centre to get off the CBI hook and pressurise PM to open cases against maya in taj -corridor etc.

Behenji tried to throw spanner by calling deal as anti-muslim...but mulayam made a smarter move by going to kalaam, ex-prez, scientist and above all a MUSLIM so tht he may yell out 'look muslim guy is supporting it, how can it be anti-muslim' and keep his M-for-Mulayam vote bank secure..

Some intelligent leaders we have...who needs standup comedy on TV
