The old man sees his end in life and realises the futility of his acts .... He has done lot of wrong to tamilains who are not backward....As a ruler he needs to understand that all people are equal before him in cluding his daugters & nephews....!!! Development of the people is what he should have attemted rather than making them fight as categories.. god will accpet him as he does with even the worst people...let his correct his course before he departs....

Mr Iyer, Is this your same view when Jayalalitha did to christians and other low caste people in TN or you are peeved when karunanidhi supports low caste people and minorities..I still remember an incident when in my child hood i was waiting for my aunt to come and pick me up at MADRAS rly station a Tamil brahmin lady whose luggage was very close to mine at the platform rebuked me and my mother saying how dare you come so close to us...out of nowhere .Tamil brahmins even now practice untouchabilty...whats ur view on that...
