Ashish Wali - please do not lie. My sister is married there and has not left with her family for more than 25 years now. The Wanchoo family, The Pajnu family and the Khazanchi family are a few examples of prominent Pandit families who have not moved out and still maintained high profiles and still command a lot of respect in Down town and Civil Lines Srinagar. There are scores of families in villages as well. Every Pandit knows that Jagmohan who was then the Governor of JK is in reality responsible for this mess. The Pandits who were well off got jobs in Jammu and other parts of India through their connections and kept drawing salaries from the Kashmir government. Lot of them rented their properties in Kashmir to BSF and Army personnel and earned huge amounts of rent and still prentended to be displaced migrants. The real sufferers are the lower middle class Pandits who were made scapegoats in this plan of Jagmohan who played straight into the hands of the Hizbul-Mujahideen fundamentalist group. Jagmohan showed his true colours later on by joing a right wing political party after swearing that he had no political motive or affiliations in his book "My frozen turbulence in Kashmir". Please don't spread propaganda on these forums as majority of people here are already ill educated morons.

Oh really? Was it Jagmohan then, who 'forced' all the mosques in Kashmir to issue threats to Hindus to get out of Kashmir or face death?

Who are you trying to fool here?

Dear Ashish , I support your cause . Let me tell you these media and the so called politicians are very mean minded . If anything happens to Hindus they will not support or report but if it happens to Muslims than they will creat big new , live telecast . We should not keep quite now , enough is enough .
