Wow! What a shame! Our dirty politicians are playing dirty politics using communalism. Any patriotic Indian Muslim must find Mayavati's remarks highly patronizing and condescending. Is she saying that all Indian muslims don't care about what is good for the national interest of their country, but instead they are more interested in what is good for pan Islamism? If so, she is saying that Indian Muslims are unpatriotic.

All muslims are not unpatriotic. Only 99% are. The remaining 1% are not true muslims.

You cannot be a true muslim and a patriotic Indian at the same time, because the principles embodied in your holy book are opposite to those embodied in the Indian constitution.
