I think all the nationalist parties like BJP are for the deal. As they have said in the past they are trying to push the govt harder to negotiate even better clauses favorable to India. Infact congress dragged it feet and waiting to complete its govt term. They gave preference to be in power than some thing beneficial to the country. The real culprit here are the commis who are in love with china and do care more about Chinese security thans India’s. soniya is hopeful that is they seal this deal there will be something to show for UPA ‘s achievements otherwise Upa government is one of the worst one India has ever had (along with VP singh, devegouda and gujaral also)

You dont know? its not my job to educate you but for example they created the 'golden square' highway project. they started the discussion on the n deal, when they were in power the inflation was well below what it is now more imp they did not try to divide people by appeasing minority they did some mistakes too (like kandahar, peace with pak etc) but india came out stronger in the end

You see everyone in India thinks the Inflation is a dial that is controlled by the Congress. How literate of you. Please google the spike in food grain prices, oil, gold, precious metals etc. and you will see the reason for the Inflation. If you think the BJP will come to power and wave a magic wand... dream on pal.

McLaren...what was the amount of loan waiver given recently by our govt.? 60,000 crores right? did your fav. PM and UPA chairman sign cheques from their personal savings account?
You go and drive a mclaren, let the people travelling in smaller cars think about housing budget and what policies can set that right.

you see loan waivers which are sunsidies to poor farmers and demand a similar subsidy for rich urban people who need cheaper fuel for their cars.
how much subsidy will the govt. give? they have already overspent on loan waivers ... now people want them to subsidize fuel, steel and cement too

chidambram has zero control on international prices ... this prices are totally out of control .. he cannot subsidize oil, wheat, sugar, copper, steel, aluminum which are getting more and more expensive ...
why should govt. pay for stuff, so you and I can get it for below cost?
