Nothing new about Buddha, Karat, Bidhan, Jyoti..etc been called fundamentalist. There are fundamentalist and can go upto licking Jedhadi's butt for muslim vote. There don't care about Hindus because they know that Hindus are not united and will get vote from them too. With CPI(Muslim) appesement policy.. west bengal has become mini bangladesh now.
How can these Hindu CPI(m) leader's forget NOAKHALI riots in bangladesh where hindus were killed , converted and raped. 50-70 thousands hindus were killed.
Mahasweta Devi no use of requesting Arundhati Roy and Medha Patkar.. they too are fundamentalist.

I guess our leaders have a short memory. They forgot the Direct Action Day and Noakhali killings. On Direct Action Day, 7000 Hindus were butchered on a single day in Calcutta. Despite all this, we still go all out to appease them!
