Terrorists in Karnataka
by Shri Kant on Jan 28, 2008 07:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I think the bureaucracy/police is helping the BJP to make a foothold in Karnataka by making such statements. Afterall, security is an important issue. The Congress is desperate to delay the state polls, but they will face the same situation as they did in Gujarat, now, and then. Of course, the more they delay, the more the JD(S) will benefit. In Karnataka, the Congress party will go the UP way...

aaa,
he did not end caste discrimination, rather incited the masses against brahmins... some of his thoughts were good, but overall he fails miserably...

discrimination cannot be stopped by violence or hate.. people have to realize themselves, humanity has to be understood, and for that the society as a whole has to change...

i dont see a difference between what rajaji did and then removed to the caste based job thing that indians were used to.

Nothign should be forced. You can certainly recommend but not limit the student/people to that only thing that have to do or take a hike.

You can;t do what the chinese are doing. Have one kid and if you have the second we will circumcize you and do a forceful abortion.

what rajaji had hinted was that apart from education, one would have means to employment, and learning the father's job would be much easier...

his idea was much criticized at that time... but when analysed closely, it would be a solution for the umemployment problem in india...

what is the difference between rajaji and communism then...One should have a free will to decide what they want to do in life. Nothing should be forced on people.

blame the unemployment, social problems on population explosion. in 1950 the pop was 380 M and now it is 12 B.

Well having said that the word is envy about the number of young people in india....

you are entitled to your opinion... as he was...

am not an advocate for rajaji... but what he said could have been adapted in a modified form...

problems, whether they be umemployment or any other is the root cause for all unrest in the minds of people...

i am not speaking for him. But may be he did not know "the" proper way of doing social justice for all.

In that case no one is an angel. The same wiki quotes Rajaji having a scheme for students at school to learn their father's profession compulsorily.

on a comical note i would like to hear if you support sons/daughters of politicians taking the seat of their father/mother... Acc. to Rajaji's policies it is 100% correct.

I guess all politicians should have a will like bEnazir Bhutto nominating their kids to the position they held....

absolutely i agree. But i dont think you can put the blame on him though. It is the parties which are running amuck.

If you put the blame on him then we have to afix proper blame on Mahatma Gandhi. How the parties and political id*ots have misused the freedom to amass wealth for their own people?

If india did not have freedom then i am sure the politicians would not have benefitted that much.

for example wrt the Aid given by USAID only 5% reaches the end people compared to 15% during Rajiv years.. So it is degrading as we speak.

it was his way of inciting people, driving them into a frenzy that has given the parties the will to freely engage in violent showdowns...

so he is a party to it...

and as for gandhi, he actions were also influential in bringing india to where it is now... did you know that his policy to give double votes in the congress was what led to the partition of india?

ideas may be good... but they have to be presented in a proper way and in a method that does not harm anybody...

as regards the aid, you are hinting implementation deficiencies and corruption...
