Let us make a huge revoluion in India and throw the exisitng ploitical system and plotitcians in total seal if not in literal sence. They are certainly not the majority be it Hindu or Muslim. India was and should be of people with liberal faith, clulture and mind. These exisitng politician will neither live themselves as they take partisan attitude nor they allow us to live our life. Lets put a stop to this lingering disease in the hope of time will heal.

India is lacking behind to other countries because of the people like you who always talk and thinks negative and criticized everyone except yourself for any problems.
We always blame politicians and government for every problem in India even if they are doing anything good also.
Let me tell you We deserved the Leadership we Elect..

Yes there cant be better truth than this :"We deserved the Leadership we Elect." Well said. But thats exactly why our country has repeatedly elected politicians who join the chorus of people who shout from their rooftops that "they get sentimentally hurt" because somebody said something! And thats why we have brought down our country which once was a land where free thoughts flowed to a country full of people for whom nothing is more important than their religions. And thats why we are a country full of people who cant stand any view than what they hold to be true.

I would like to know if Sarkozy and his likes have read Taslimas book and Quran to verify if she has spoken the truth. Its a welcome decision by the government. If someone writes baseless things in the name of freedom of speech against my Hindu or Christian brothers, I would be the first person to oppose it. Freedom for speech is not a license to irresponsible behavior.

Yes no doubt it's a shame. But all those who have commented I have a question for you - M F Hussain have hurt Hindu sentiments. Would your reaction be same if the government had acted similarly for him? I doubt. They would have all written congratulatory notes. It's not about freedom of speech or freedom of expression or anything, it's about hurting the other community

If someone gets hurt its their problem and its for them to go to a psychiatrist and get cured of this disease of getting hurt for anything and everything. Of late we are becoming a country full of people who are ever ready to get "sentimentally hurt" at the drop of a hat - this includes Hindus, christians, muslimms, sikhs....all. Its really sickening. Are religious gods and scriptures properties of some groups..? Everyone has a right to look at and comment on these things the way they want. The law against those who "sentimentally hurt" others' religious feelings shd be replaced by a law against those who claim to "get hurt sentimentally"!

National interests should be prime for any nation. Indian government knows their people well. Sitting in USA, one can't judge politic and feel its temperature in India. Why can't Sarkozy, honour Taslima in their own land. Why Indian should suffer the agony because of an award of a foreign country to a foreign person. It cant be in Indian Interests.
