Why is the media giving so much importance to the girlfriend? Why is this topic so much discussed in every media. Don't you have anything else that is important in life?

Here visit is a matter of OUR CULTURAL VALUES. One this is for sure that she should not visit as a "Girl Friend" of THE PRESIDENT of a country to India. And, since she is not acompanying the president, the president is in no mood either to visit India. But he had commited and hence is comeing. But he will not stay for long after the main cerimony is over.
This is gross insult to the Host nation. We should ask the president of france to cancel his visit altogather.

Sure our cultural value says that person visiting to appreciate our culture should be molested.
