How Modi hopes to overcome opposition
by Hebbar R on Jan 19, 2008 08:30 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

In the TV News Media, personal opinions of the Anchor or the reporters at the spot is being passed off as News. Often one can witness TV Jurnos asking their reporters "so what in your opinion is Congress going to do now....." or " why do you think Modi said this....?". One fails to understand how a reportes opinion is News!

Accordingly, this article about Modi seems to be the opinion of the author and need not necessarily be the truth. In any case, even if it is the truth, there is no reason to write the same in the way it has been, just to try to create a wedge between leaders in a party. These jurnos have tried all these tricks during the Gujarat elections (able inspired and supported by the "Secular" minded parties and pressure groups) and they miserably failed. They are at it once again.

The attempt also seems to be to put Modi in a different light. As if Modi is not eligible to be a PM!!! As if it is a crime to have ambitions.

A corruption free individual and a development oriented person is indeed very much needed to lead India to overcome so many of the issues that India is facing right now. Modi more than fits these qualifications.

Right, plus Modi is among the very few people who has these qualifications and probably the only one to have confidence, pride and a spine strong enough to back up these qualifications.
