Whether this is just a show or a really honest attempt , only time will tell. But the fact is a party accused of being communal has made at least a paper proposal for peace and harmony whereas the self-proclaimed seculars are still in Hindu bashing mood. And nothing can be said about the others.
RSS has never been communal , BJP used Ram mandir issue to win elections and that was their major mistake. Fighting against pseudo-secularism should not mean using the same tactics they use, this will polarize the society and put this nations interest into jeopardy.
BJP needs to actively start working on regaining the trust of Muslims and other religions but not use tactics like minority appeasement, reservations etc.
There will be some who just dont want a good change, they just dont want to give a chance to anyone except themselves, these people are beyond redemption and should be sidelined.
