You might have written this in jest, but we have to be really serious and think about it. Is India losing its moral compass in its quest for material things? Is not Amitabh more attractive than Shashi in Deewar? Shashi still wanted his mother; he worshipped his mother. Do we worship Mother India? Do we really care for the poverty ridden and those who are not as fortunate as us? This posting of yours makes me think very seriously

kalyan ram They may have all what you have mensioned. But people dont have the freedom and democracy like we enjoy. Individual freedom is more important than anything you mensioned. US and India enjoy such freedom. Two great democracies.

US freedom part is OK, but in my belief, all Indians are enjoying over flown freedom. When there is too much freedom the development goes uncontrolled. That is what we are seeing in so called modern India.

Obviously nobody loves anybody or Mother India anymore. Everyone's busy grabbing seats for free, they want money for free, they want jobs for free, they're kicking out merited and hard working people. Divide, reserve and divide and reserve more. Do whatever it takes to keep emphasising birth based division. Keep blasting Hinduism, Rama, Brahminism, encourage casteism, factionism, real estate goondaism, tax people for even salt, keep Afzal alive till election time, kick out Taslima, pander to Islamic militants/terrorists, and finally kick out the Dalai Lama someday.
