telangana issue is very simple......it was a separate state to b formed in 1956 itself(after first SRC)...but at that time we didin't have a powerful leader like KCR.....so andhra and rayalseema people colonised telangana and thereby that part of andhra bcom poorest in entire south india whereas andhra ppl bcom very prosperous and powerful.....in 1970 violent telangana statehood movement happened and telanagana praja samiti won 10 of the 14 lok sabha seats present then.....but authoritarian rule of indira gandhi prevented formation of telangana....but now telangana wave is engulfing the region and erstwhile unification parties like tdp of CBN are changing their stand now....devender goud(former home min)and leading leader of tdp from telangana himself told that he supported telangana statehood.....in congress cwc member venkatswamy(former union cabinet min)also told that he wil resign from congress if statehood is not given.....bjp already supports telangana and so is mayawati's bsp.....only communists who r all set 2 b extinct in telangana state is against giving statehood for telangana....but still congress wil most probably give new statehood for telangana bcoz else they will not even win a single state from this vast region and telangana will bcome another UP or bihar for congress...in last election cong manifesto promised new telangana state but they r now changing their stand...even cong mp's has said that they will resign from party if statehood is not given
