These all are pure lies. See the video, you will know the truth. SC would not have given this verdict had the Jallikkattu been organized sensibily. It is not just 4 persons but hundreds chasing a single bull, pulling the tail, suffocating them. Let it be organized in a MAIDHAN with one man controlling one bull as was the ancient pratice. ( you can see that in VEERAPANDIYA KATTABOMMAN). Killing the animals for flesh is bad, but this type of jallikkattu is much worse.

Absolutely agreed ! The way it is conducted today these bulls are terrified of such a huge crowd of people. Even I would be terried to run in the narrow pathway between these taunting morons. NONE of these guys would be a match for these ferocious bulls ONE-ON-ONE. They are just a bunch of cowards piling on the poor animal to bring it down and grab the cash tied to its horns.
