If they are so terribly worried abt cruelty to animals, why dont they ban eating of these animals, where animals are butchered in the most inhuman way.Or if non vegetarians are so fond of eating why dont they eat these animals after they die their natural death.Getting jallikattu banned is only a publicity stunt for all these animal rights activists. Why dont they go protest in front of muslim houses which kill cows and christian houses which kill pigs and eat them. They want to ban an inane sport.Agreed there are injuries and the animals do suffer a bit but this is miniscule when compared to the cruelty at the abbatoirs and the butcher shop. This is another christian conspiracy to defame India, Hindus and Hindu festivals

Forget about religion. The message is that Maneka should protest in front of those ppl who eat these animals, rather than trying to ban a sport which has been existing from such a long time.
