DRDO AND ITS ATTEMPTS
by sankar narayanan on Jan 21, 2008 05:19 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is interesting to read the article or Mr.Bharat Varma. But he is seen skeptical about the efforts and achievements of Indian DRDO. Pl. see to it from the angle of ISRO and SAIL only. They are govt.organizations and efficiency is at its low ebb and only time can prove their efficiency and the three eees.Anyway never ever down grade the nation and its pride institutions, may be there are failures; ofcourse, then the success have also to be spelled. But it is in no way help us by importing weapons, systems and scientists from world-wide, at a time when India and Indians are seen thru out the world as acceptable and leading lights.
So be sure in our accusations and suggestions, in that they are not leading us to mere foreign dependency.

With regards
sankar.r.s.

How do you do that? All of us would like India to develop its own modern weapon systems, but DRDO and other similar organisations are beset by the PSU malaise. I am afraid this is simply down the drain.
