Look at the internet & see the congested area it is. By the way this market was during teh congress days. What do you want the commies to do, jump in the fire? It is the fire department's job. I guess your state ministers are hired on fire fighting certificates.....if you knew what I meant.

The Hoogly river is 150-200 meter by walking and at max 1 KM by driving!! I dont know why there was water scarcity!! what if dumdum or some other part of kolkata catch fire!! god only knows.
@Chandan I agree that its job of fire department!! and that is under government and If I am not wrong then there is a minister for the dept!! What our beloved CM did for these 3 days apart from souting at brigade ground? Taking for argument that he was monitoring the situation from home!! then where is the result?? He is the CM and accountable!!
