Of course I ask myself why superstition is so widespread and why 99.99% of people believe in some form of God. Because of uncertainty and death, people cannot cope with the absoluteness of non-existence. So they invented an after-life and gods because it is useful. JGN, you have rightly pointed out that there is no proof of gods existence and he was made up by superstitious people. Now can you prove that god does not exist? No you cannot do that either, so in absence of proof to point either way you cannot claim that religions are wrong

Allah, why do you jump at Imran? Why do you feel that a muslim caanot be an atheist? Pl come out of religious dogmas. They have no place in today's world driven by science and technology.
It is an unfortunate incident in Pak and we should not rejoice.

I am trying my level best on various discussion boards. Now-a-days I write sarcastic messages and many people even cannot distinguish the same. Even the Rediff moderator also cannot revoke my posting right!
